As you are having a lightening service with us today for the first time. This could mean you are having highlights or bleach and tone retouch! So we would like to advise you of what is involved and how to keep your colour looking great.

• Lightening can compromise the condition of your hair. We will only perform this service with a treatment or a product called Eslabondexx this product is applied into lightener to help with the condition of your hair and to help prevent breakage.
• Toning may be required to achieve your desired result, this will fade so for longevity we prefer to overtone the hair.
• We recommend you return every 4 to 8 weeks, depending on the service you have had, to maintain your colour and stay within your heat band, this avoids uneven colour results.
• Ideally you should wait 48 hours before shampooing your hair at home.
• Salon professional products are recommended. Your stylist will prescribe you the appropriate take home hair care. routine. These products are vital to maintain your colour and hair beauty. This includes using purple shampoo to help eliminate warmth or yellowness if you want to achieve a cool blonde or help maintain your colour between services.
• Wear a swimming cap if you intend on swimming in a pool, spa or the beach and try to avoid water from copper pipes.

You're having corrective colour.

As you are having a corrective colour today for the first time, we would like to advise you of what is involved and how to keep your colour looking fabulous.

• ​We do advise a quote for your service today although please remember without seeing your hair, we cannot give you a direct quote but we can give you a estimated price.
• Our colour removal system (Eliminate) is multiple service process. Therefore please allow a minimum of 3 hours for this service.
• In some cases we may recommend a strand test first.
• It may take 2-3 visits to achieve your dream shade.
• Precoloured hair is porous and uneven in texture and condition. Therefore an even colour result is difficult to achieve on your first visit. 
• Manufacturers instructions do not recommend re-colouring your hair on the same day you have a colour removal service. We recommend waiting at least a week.
• ​Salon professional products are recommended. Your stylist will prescribe you the appropriate take home hair care. routine. These products are vital to maintain your colour and hair beauty. 
• We recommend 4-6 week appointments for maintenance of cut and colour.

Hair Styling and Hair Up's.

Here at Vogue, we want to ensure your hair styling experience with us is an amazing one! The team at Vogue pride themselves on creating beautiful modern looks.

In order to us to cater to your hair up needs we ask that you please come prepared for your service;

• Come to your appointment with your hair freshly washed, it is difficult to work with unclean hair and you will need to wash it at the salon. This will be at the cleints expense.
• Come prepared with photos. The more images you have of your desired hair up, the better! We love to see your vision and it helps us create it. Without photos, it is hard for us to gauge what look you are wanting. Email them into us at: vogue.kaiapoi@gmail.co.nz
• Be prepared to spend time in the salon with us. Depending on your hair wants, it takes time to create beautiful styles.
• If you are wanting us to put in accessories for you, bring them along! We are happy to do so.
• Arrive at Vogue for your appointment 10 minutes before it starts.

Due to the nature of our salon, prices will vary with each stylist. We recognise that your time is valuable and offer appointments to suit your needs. The time we have set aside for you is also valuable and we ask that you give us atleast 24 hours notice of cancellation.

Without seeing your hair, we cannot give you a direct quote but we can give you an estimated price.
